He signed and wrote on the side with the image of Villa Pamphili, the home of Innocent X.

Eugenio Pacelli, the future Pope Pius XII, was ordained in 1899 and was elected Pope in 1939.

Ernesto Pacelli was born in 1859 & died in 1925. Eugenio Pacelli was born in 1876, which would have made him 17 years younger than Ernesto. There is conflicting information about this.
Ernesto Pacelli (died June 13, 1925) was a financial adviser to Pope Leo XIII, Pope Pius X, and Pope Benedict XV and the founder and president of the Banco di Roma from March 9, 1880 until 1916. Pacelli also served as an unofficial link between the Vatican and the Italian government. Papal historian John Pollard calls him the “first of the great laymen to be associated with the finances of the Holy See.
