He has received several items for this collection as a direct result of this relationship.

The portion of his cassock, however, is a result of a correspondence Father Kunst’s mother had with Pia Luciani. She sent the gift on the occasion of his 41st birthday.

It is a very desirable item particularly when one considers John Paul I was only a pope for thirty-three days.

Papal Artifacts joins Pia Luciani in wishing the happiest of birthdays to Father Richard Kunst.  His love for and fidelity to his vocation and his unequaled  devotion to our Holy Fathers is an inspiration to all of us who appreciate this Collection.

Happy birthday, Father Richard Kunst!  May our Lord continue to bless you forever![/vc_column_text][minti_spacer][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][minti_gallery ids=”21932,21933,31496,31488,23403″ columns=”5″ style=”2″][minti_spacer][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][minti_gallery ids=”23388,29739,23393,29665″ columns=”4″ style=”2″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
